Pawfectly Booked was created around the real-world challenges of running a dog grooming business. Built with direct input from experienced groomers and salon owners, it brings practical tools together in one place to make day-to-day grooming business management simpler.
Pawfectly Booked was founded in 2025 by Jason Dempsey, with Hannah’s hands-on experience as a dog groomer and salon owner helping shape the product from the beginning.
As husband and wife, Jason and Hannah had already seen first-hand the everyday challenges involved in running a busy grooming salon. They’re also lifelong dog lovers, with a household that has included several rescue dogs over the years.
Hannah knew the frustrations of managing appointments with older systems: paper diaries that could be messy, hard to read or go missing; grooming cards that took ages to file and find and could be lost or damaged; double bookings; and no-shows.
Running a multi-groomer salon added another layer: everyone needed to know which dogs were coming in, what each dog needed and where to find past notes. When those details lived across paper cards and a busy diary, keeping the team up to date meant more checking and more admin. The information groomers needed was there somewhere; finding it quickly was the hard part.
Jason combined his software and product experience with Hannah’s practical grooming knowledge to build Pawfectly Booked around the real needs of grooming businesses.
Jason and Hannah continue to listen to groomers and salon owners in the UK and US, using their feedback to keep the product grounded in the realities of the job. By making everyday admin simpler, Pawfectly Booked helps groomers achieve a better work–life balance.
