Which price is used if more than one is set?

Pawfectly Booked checks in order: a custom price on the individual pet's record first, then the method you have chosen under Settings → Online Booking → Price Quoting (breed, size, or service default). Breed and size are never checked together — you select one as your pricing basis.

Can I override the price for one dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every pet's record can have its own custom price and duration per service. This always takes priority over the chosen breed or size pricing, and is ideal for dogs that are unusually large, nervous, or heavily matted.

Does this affect manual bookings, or only online bookings?

Accepted Answer

Both. Custom durations at the pet level apply automatically whenever an appointment is created or edited — whether it comes through your online booking page or is entered manually by your team.

Can I use different appointment lengths for different breeds?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you set 'Price by breed' as your basis, every booking for a breed automatically uses the price and duration you have set for it.

Does this work with online bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose whether your online booking page quotes clients using the service default, breed pricing, or size pricing under Settings → Online Booking → Price Quoting. The same values also set the appointment duration.

What happens if no custom price or duration exists for a dog?

Accepted Answer

The system falls back to the standard service price and duration, so every appointment always has a sensible default.
