Yes. Every online booking through Pawfectly Booked lands in your calendar as a scheduled appointment awaiting your approval. You review it and either confirm it, suggest an alternative time, or decline. Nothing is automatically confirmed without your review.

What happens if a client tries to book a dog with a difficult history?

The approval workflow gives you full control. You can review the request, check the pet's notes, and either approve with a conversation first or decline. You are never obligated to accept a booking you are not comfortable with.

Can clients choose a specific groomer when booking online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Clients can select a preferred groomer when making a request. Availability updates based on that groomer's schedule.

Does the online booking page recognise existing clients?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When an existing client enters their email or phone number, they are recognised automatically. Their pet's name and breed are pre-filled so rebooking takes seconds.

Do clients need to enter both an email and a phone number to book?

Accepted Answer

No. Clients only need to provide one — an email address or a mobile number. Whichever they give is used to recognise returning clients, and it's used to send an automated booking confirmation email on every plan, or an SMS confirmation on Gold plans.

Can the booking page double-book a groomer who is already assisting on another dog?

Accepted Answer

No. Availability is calculated from real appointment data, including when a groomer is assigned as a second groomer on a larger or more difficult dog. Anyone already committed at that time — primary or second groomer — is treated as busy, so they can't be double-booked.

How do clients find my online booking page?

Accepted Answer

Every salon gets a unique booking URL to share on social media, your website, or as a QR code to display in your salon or on leaflets.

Can I restrict online booking to existing clients only?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can set your booking page to accept requests from existing clients only. New clients are directed to contact you directly.

Does online booking work for mobile groomers?
